At one point, high end Miami Beach real estate was set to dominate the city’s landscape as the real estate boom lead to a huge surge in luxury Miami Beach condos, celebrity restaurants, and posh hotels.

We all know what happened shortly thereafter yet the housing nosedive did result in a return to the basics. Instead of new buildings, Miami Beach is once again the classic city where people party ‘til the wee hours of the morning and simply have a good time. Make sure to check out these new hotspots, especially if you’re dropping by Art Basel.

One of the most recently renovated Miami Beach condos, the Fontainebleau is known for its clubs, in this case Liv located not far from the lobby. Complete with strobe lights, banquettes designed to be danced upon and skyboxes near the dance floor, it’s one of the less pretentious clubs in the city.

The place to be nowadays is also within one of the newer Miami Beach condos, the W South Beach to be more specific.
