Those of you who may be renting Miami Beach condos but haven’t made it over here yet due to the northern snowstorms that have slowed down holiday travel have something to look forward to. Assuming you haven’t arranged any kind of vehicular transportation to make it to the condo you have rented, that may no longer be a problem.

On Sunday the Airport Flyer express bus service officially began transporting tourists to Miami Beach condos and hotels directly from Miami International Airport. It’s the first of two bus routes that will facilitate access to popular tourism hotspots in South Florida. The second express route will debut next month and will have a much longer trajectory, running from downtown Miami all the way up to central Broward County via Interstate 95.

Funds available to the Miami-Dade Transit department are tight but the recent unveiling of the Airport Flyer service is not coming out of its pocketbooks, instead it’s being funded by federal dollars. Those of you needing to get your Miami Beach condos in a timely manner will be pleased to know that the service runs every thirty minutes and stops at many popular streets throughout the city. Best of all, it will only cost you $2.35 to ride it.
