West Avenue contains a number of incredible condominium opportunities in Miami Beach. With Whole Foods, Epicure, and Fresh Market all in walking distance, there is also a feeling of being able to walk to run errands, which is not available in other areas of Miami Beach. Further, there are a number of restaurants and boutiques on West Avenue that are destinations in themselves, Oliver’s is very popular, Barton G’s, as well as Asia de Cuba, in the Mondrian Hotel.  A clear advantage of this street is its placement west of Alton Road, directly on the Bay, and it has clear access to 395 and 95, making it less than ten minutes to downtown.
Some of the most prominent buildings on West Avenue are the Bentley Bay, Mondrian, Waverly, The Flamingo, The Floridian, and Mirador. Each of these buildings offer resort style living on the bay. ON Upper levels the amazing views of the ocean are also available, since there are no larger buildings to the Atlantic Ocean. The Bay views are incredible and at dusk the sunsets on the Miami Skyline are the most coveted in Miami. Real Estate in this neighborhood can be extremely reasonably priced, with prices down at least 20-40% since 2008. Given the views and amenities of these buildings, investments are favored as well.
